Morton Grove Abercrombie and Fitch Outlet

Upstairs, this house had some of the softest and most luxurious carpeting I've ever set foot on.

Downstairs, it had the largest collection of Abercrombie and Fitch retail display materials I've ever set eyes on. Outside of an actual Abercrombie and Fitch store.

Trust me, these things look a lot bigger and more impressive outside the store than they do inside.

And there were quite a lot of them.

I found this juxtaposition with the Barbie dolls particularly amusing. Make your own connections and observations.

In the right house -- one with large walls, and your wardrobe folded neatly on tables -- these pieces could make for an interesting look. They certainly would class up any kind of yard sale you might decide to throw.

There were a few other interesting items as well. This dinette set was kind of sweet.

As was this one.

While I was down there, this radio was playing "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie. Yeah, that's a $300 price tag on the front.

This is the Stim-u-Lax Junior, which makes me wonder how large the Stim-u-Lax Senior must have been. The fact that Oster also makes toasters and blenders doesn't exactly make me feel confident about strapping this on to one of my only two hands.

  2. The Stim-u-Lax Junior, just the right size for Little Bobby or Little Susie's curious, self-exploring hands...until they graduate to the Waterproof Turbo Stroker Mark IV or the Jenna Jameson Jackrabbit 9000.

  4. @Megbon: Yes, it was. And on it, the barber giving Don Draper the haircut had one on each hand.

To the rest of you: You had to take it there, didn't you? I mean, really. Really. Thanks!
