Odds and Ends from Here and There

Not every great photo makes its way into an Estate Sale Story. Here are a few that didn't.

This hat box must have come from Carson Pirie Scott. Why their hat department was named the Carsons Charm Clinic is a mystery. A Google search turned up just one result: an identical hat box for sale on Ebay, with opening bids starting at $3.99. This one was marked $10, so there you go.

I don't know why anyone would hang on to something like this. Or buy it in the first place, for that matter.

These two chair impressions almost spell the word, "Oh."

The only problem with this lamp is that when you turn it on, you can see the lamp better.

Ditto.

This looks like a nursing home had a going-out-of-business sale and someone decided to stock up.

It was, understandably, marked "Free."
